Zebra was founded in Tokyo in 1914 by Tokumatsu Ishikawa, who named it after the zebra's herding instinct and the close-knit company he wanted to build. It makes the Sarasa gel pen, the Mildliner twin-tip highlighter and the bLen ballpoint, which is designed to cut the vibration you feel as you write.
