UK VAT will not be applied to your order. Please refer to your local customs authorities for information on import duties you may have to pay.

These beautiful tapes are designed by Kaori Watanabe, the Japanese artist behind the brand Yohaku ヨハク

This clear, transparent tape is removable and reusable.

The tape has tiny perforated lines every 5cm, allowing you to cut it with the simple use of your hands. If instead you want a different length you can use scissors and the pre-cut lines are so thin that are unnoticeable.

Given the tape transparency, you can create beautiful effects on your pages by layering with other tapes from the brand or other tapes and paper ephemera.

Yohaku means “blank”, “unpainted space” in Japanese and is considered one of the identifying characteristics of Japanese paintings. Blank spaces are not simply unpainted areas; they are important to the composition of a painting and carry the same “weight” as the painted areas, often serving to set off or balance the painted motifs.

The use of “yohaku” can be very much appreciated in the minimalist designs of Kaori. She creates her wonderful collages by collecting bits and pieces of vintage ephemera, old newspapers, tickets, and more. Her unique designs will add an understated elegance to your journal pages, planners, and craft paper projects. With such a great selection to choose from, everyone can find their favourite design.
